Classic Helicopters would like to thank you for your service! There are several Veterans on our staff, all of whom have used their VA benefits to help them achieve their goals of becoming career pilots. As a part 141 VA approved school, your options for training are very diverse and flexible. Whether you are eligible for partial benefits, full Montgomery GI Bill® benefits, or the new Post 9-11 GI Bill®, Classic Helicopters can figure out the best program for you.

Getting Started

Your first step will be finding out what benefits you will be eligible for. You can find out by accessing the VA through their website or by calling 1-888-442-4551. Once you know what your options are, you can choose which one will fit your life best. There are several ways that you can use your benefits and so having a conversation with one of our knowledgeable staff is a good starting point to help you figure out which path will work best for you.

Green River Community College

Classic Helicopters has blazed the trail for getting helicopter training through your Post 9-11 GI Bill with our partner Green River Community College. This is the most comprehensive program in Washington State and will enable you to utilize your Post 9-11® benefits to the fullest extent. Information on GRCC’s program can be found here.

You earned your benefits! Use them to pursue your dream of becoming a professional helicopter pilot!
